The client approached us to design their new concept store after we had completed some upgrades to their existing North Rocks tenancy. Being a large tenancy there was an extensive service area and an even bigger BOH prep/cooking area, requiring a great deal of space planning. Conceptually, however, we had a lot of fun with this project, creating a barn like portico around the shopfront with bold vibrant graphics & oversized images of chickens scratching around in the hay. Finally there were counter fronts of luscious grass overlayed with hexagon chicken wire, which ties back to the shape of the tiles used on the splashback.
